Compare HACKERS' SLUMBER BT-23 and Chivalrous XIII EX-13 Japanese Digimon booster boxes on pack count, price, and deck-building fit, then pick the box that matches your goal.
Quick answer
For deck builders who want the most packs and the lowest price, HACKERS' SLUMBER [BT-23] is the practical pick: 24 packs at USD 35.70. Choose Chivalrous XIII [EX-13] at USD 34.17 if you want a cheaper single-box entry and don't need the confirmed 24-pack count.
What the catalog confirms, and what it doesn't
Both boxes are authentic Japanese Digimon TCG booster boxes from Bandai Namco in Japan. That matters for players who want Japanese-language cards for a Japanese-format deck or collection.
The catalog lists 24 packs for HACKERS' SLUMBER, with 6 cards per pack. It does not supply a pack count for Chivalrous XIII, so treat any per-pack value estimate for that box as unconfirmed. Cards are sorted randomly in both products, so no box guarantees a specific card.
The real trade-off: confirmed volume vs lower entry price
HACKERS' SLUMBER costs USD 1.53 more at catalog price, but it is the only one of the two with a stated 24-pack count. If your goal is opening a large pool of cards for deck building, that confirmed volume is the stronger basis for a decision.
Chivalrous XIII is the lower-priced box at USD 34.17. If you are buying one box to start or to gift, the smaller outlay may matter more than pack volume. Because its pack count is not supplied, compare it on price and availability rather than assuming a per-pack rate.
Where this comparison stops
The catalog does not list card pools, rarities, or chase cards for either set, so this comparison cannot tell you which box contains a specific card for your deck. Use the confirmed pack count and price to choose a box, then check the set's card list separately before building around it.
Decision rules for each box
- If you want a known card pool: Pick HACKERS' SLUMBER [BT-23]. Its 24 packs of 6 cards give you a confirmed volume to open and sort for deck building, at USD 35.70. Set a budget per box before ordering so the higher price stays deliberate.
- If you want the lowest entry price: Pick Chivalrous XIII [EX-13] at USD 34.17. It is the cheaper box, but the catalog does not state its pack count, so do not assume a per-pack saving.
- If you are buying both: Order HACKERS' SLUMBER first for the confirmed 24-pack pool, then add Chivalrous XIII as a lower-cost second box once you know which cards your deck still needs. Check the set card lists before committing to a second box.
