The paint job on his haori is crisp down to the smallest pattern detail, and the 1/8 scale feels substantial on the shelf at about 20cm tall. He arrived in perfect condition, no bent parts or loose joints, which is always my biggest worry with figures.
The base is surprisingly sturdy for a figure this size, and the way his haori ripples mid-motion looks even sharper in person than in the product photos. I've had it on my shelf for a week and keep catching myself staring at the sculpted details on the sword handle.
The pose captures his water-breathing stance perfectly, and at 205mm tall it has a real presence on the shelf. The base is sturdy and the haori's gradient shading looks even better in person than in the photos.
