Digimon Pendulum COLOR Godzilla Edition

The screen’s pixelated sprite animations are surprisingly crisp, and the two-in-one Digimon x Godzilla roster makes each battle feel like a little crossover event. Battery life has held up well through a week of commuting, so I don’t mind that it’s a bit chunky in the pocket.

I kept it sealed because the box art is gorgeous, but the Digimon screen glow through the plastic is already way too tempting. The little battery light flickering matches the Godzilla roar sound effects perfectly for a quick nostalgia hit.

I was half expecting a cheap gimmick, but the build quality on this second collab feels solid, and the Fusion Mode screen transitions are surprisingly smooth. It's a great little piece for any fan of both franchises, and the Japanese packaging alone was worth the wait.
